One of the most frequently asked questions regarding boudoir photography is, “What should I wear to a boudoir photography session?” In a nutshell, you should wear something that you feel sexy in and/or wear something that your boyfriend/fiance/husband thinks is sexy. Depending on your photographer, you may be allowed outfit changes during your boudoir photography session. Make sure to bring a good variety so you have a lot of different looks to choose from.

In general, black and darker colors are more slimming while white is great for showing off your tan.

Here are my recommendations on what to wear  for your boudoir photography session.

• Lingeries. You can’t go wrong with these. You can get sexy lingeries here and here.
• Bridal Undies. For a more demure look, you can wear bridal undies. You can also wear bridal accessories like veil (or just the veil without anything else) or bridal stockings. You can get bridal undies here and here.
• Corsets
  
• Swimwear
  
• Men’s shirts. You can wear a men’s shirt by itself without a bottom. You can wear it buttoned or unbuttoned.
• Sports Jerseys. Does he have a favorite sports team? You can wear his favorite team’s jerseys on your boudoir photography shoot.
• Boyshorts
  
• Uniforms and Costumes such as nurse, schoolgirl, etc.   You can get sexy costumes here.
• Implied Nude You can also use your hands or a towel or blanket to cover your body if you want to do implied nude. You don’t have to show anything.
